Personal

Outside of my professional life I am a blogger, photographer and husband to my beautiful wife. Sometimes I also contribute articles to a mainstream national publication (mint).

Other interests include classic rock, movies (all kinds, all languages), quizzing, reading (non-fiction mostly), cricket and football (Albiceleste and Red Devils).

About ‘Signals of Noise’

Signals of Noise was launched in late June 2010 when I wanted a more personalized space dedicated to subjects that interested me professionally. I write about anything that is related to marketing, product management, technology and the Internet. Mostly thoughts from articles I read, product ideas, critique of ideas and emerging technologies and services. Of late though I have also been collecting useful stories and publish them as a set along with my thoughts.

I post the photographs that I consider to be my best (and the concept is relative as I would like to believe I am improving) along with notes on where and how they were taken. My gear is a Nikon D3100 with a 18-55mm VR lens, the absolutely wonderful 35mm f/1.8 prime, a Slik F630 tripod, a Tamrac Adventure 7 backpack and a Canon SX120 IS compact.

I primarily like documenting events, street life and still life though have developed a new interest in shooting panoramas.
